About Renetta Garrison Tull

Dr. Renetta Garrison Tull is the Associate Vice Provost for Graduate Student Development & Postdoctoral Affairs at the UMBC: An Honors University in Maryland (http://www.umbc.edu), and the Director of PROMISE: Maryland’s Alliance for Graduate Education and the Professoriate (AGEP) – http://www.umbc.edu/promise. The PROMISE AGEP includes alliance members: UMBC, the University of Maryland Baltimore, and the University of Maryland College Park. She is passionate about training postdocs for careers, cultivating new graduate students in the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) fields, retention of all graduate students, and Ph.D. Completion.     The session was phenomenal!!! I am so sorry I missed being in the picture! But, I was blessed to have a one-on-one with Dr. Carter-Veale and you do not keep her waiting (smile)! Isn’t great to be in a place where so many positive life changing experiences are occurring simultaneously?! Just look at the smiles on the faces in this picture. There was so much JOY in the DH!!! Here’s to the Sisters in the DH for sharing and caring!
