The January 2013 Online Writing Challenges Begin NOW! (Dissertation, Thesis, Publications!)

We enjoy hosting in-person events in Maryland for the Dissertation House, the Postdoctoral Writing Suite, and the new pilot “Writing for Publication” workshop. If you missed the deadlines for the in-person events, if you go to a school outside of Maryland, or if you can’t join us on campus, please strongly consider joining us online! You can blog with us and be part of the online community by introducing yourself, posting your goals, and recording your progress along the way. Our Winter 2013 cohorts will be blogging in full swing starting January 22, but you can begin now. Here are the links:

  1. Hello All!
I am excited about participating in this online accountability community! I am Melissa Speight-Vaughn, I am a 4th year Education Policy Studies doctoral student at Georgia State University. My goal for this session is to write and present the prospectus and complete chapters 1-3 of my dissertation. My cousin, Erin, (first year doc student at UMBC!) informed me of this forum.
    Thanks for the opportunity,
    msv

  3. I agree, a good coach can really help you out in writing dissertations for you, but there are many PHD students who do not have access to a good coach, i can recommend them a very useful site, they have expert writers and can help students out in best way.

What is dissertation house?

The Dissertation House program is an intensive writing retreat designed to help graduate students overcome the barriers that often impede progress on their dissertations. Developed by the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, the program provides a supportive and structured environment where students can focus on their writing, receive feedback, and learn effective time management and goal-setting strategies. Over several days, students work in groups, participate in workshops, and receive coaching from experienced facilitators. The Dissertation House program has been highly successful in helping students make significant progress on their dissertations. It is widely regarded as a valuable resource for graduate students seeking to complete their degrees.
